About a year ago, I got myself a Panzer V crossbow. It came with useless "sights" and is of 150lb draw weight standard.
It features an amazingly easy disassembly method to replace limbs, and a long draw length, providing a noticeable edge over most other, if not all re-curve crossbows out there.
Since then I have given it a 175lb limb, and a new scope as well as some custom decals and other aesthetic modifications.

I have not done any serious testing of what it can do, so I have no idea how far it can accurately shoot with mods, how fast it shoots bolts, nor how effective it is against live targets, for that would be illegal. However, I can tell you it can put a .56cal lead ball straight through a soup can at 20 yards, on only 3/4 of it's full draw length (as is the limitations of shooting non-bolts from it).
I would estimate, from what official sources say, that mine is putting out between 65 and 72 ft/lbs, firing 400-ish grain bolts.

Now, for the fun part, the pics!!:

Sorry about the quality, it's currently disassembled at the moment so I couldn't get any better images with a decent camera.

Thanks.
It's fun, that's for sure. Bit expensive to run though, and bulky, but nice to have around.

More of a bow person myself. Besides, the other half would use it to kill me if she found one in the cupboard!

Haha, that's why I keep it disassembled.

I've never really clicked with bows to be honest. Do you have a bow?
